Our story
REDEFINING CRICKET EQUIPMENT
Viking Cricket was born from a lifelong connection to the game. As former players, coaches, and parents, we experienced first-hand the frustration of inconsistent quality in modern cricket equipment — bats that looked the part but failed to deliver where it mattered most: performance, durability, and feel. We knew there had to be a better way. So we built one. Our mission was simple from day one: create cricket equipment we would be proud to use ourselves — uncompromising in quality, honest in craftsmanship, and trusted by players who take their game seriously.

Every Viking bat begins its journey in Suffolk, where our English willow is grown and carefully selected from the finest suppliers in the game. From there, the clefts arrive at our workshop, where they are transformed by our master batmaker using traditional techniques passed down through generations. With over 20 years of experience — including producing bats for international and county professionals — our batmaker understands exactly what players need when they walk to the crease: confidence. That confidence comes from balance. Pickup. Timing. Power. Reliability. It comes from knowing your bat won’t let you down. Every Viking cricket bat is handmade, individually finished, and personally checked before it reaches you. If it’s not good enough for us to use, it’s not good enough to leave the workshop.
